Diapers
Our aim was to create The Diaper from scratch to make it the best diaper available in terms of performance and quality. Our diaper has a soft-as-cashmere feel and is hypoallergenic, making it gentle on the skin. We have designed our diaper to minimize the occurrence of leaks, blowouts, and diaper rash, by incorporating an absorbent core that can hold up to 70% more liquid. This ensures that our diaper stays dry for a longer time, even during overnight use (for more uninterrupted sleep!). Our products undergo thorough third-party testing and we carefully consider customer feedback to continuously improve their quality. For more information on product transparency, you can read our full Diaper Safety Report here.
The quantity of diapers in each box differs based on the size. You may notice that as the size increases, the number of diapers per size decreases. While older (bigger) babies often wet their diapers less frequently, the amount of materials utilized in each diaper increases.
Size NB/01: 192 diapers (93 NB diapers, 99 01 diapers)
Size 01: 198 diapers
Size 02: 186 diapers
Size 03: 168 diapers
Size 04: 150 diapers
Size 05: 132 diapers
Size 06: 108 diapers
For more information, you can read our Sizing 101 page here for useful tips on box quantities and sizing.
Each box of diapers is typically lasts about one month, but this can differ based on your child's age and changing habits. If you have extra packs of diapers remaining, or you're running out of them sooner than anticipated, you can modify your recurring shipment frequency in your Account page or by emailing us at [email protected] or texting us at 951-467-4913.
Our diaper’s absorbent core is made of sodium polyacrylate (SAP) and Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) wood pulp from sustainably managed forests. The nonwoven backsheet is made of polypropylene and polyester, and the topsheet is made of polypropylene. Our high loft nonwoven acquisition layer is made from polyester and the hook tab fastening system is made of polypropylene / polyethylene, film and adhesive. Our diapers are hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested, but we recommend consulting with your doctor if you’re concerned about a certain allergen, fabric, or medical condition. Please note that we cannot say that our products are vegan because that classification is reserved for food products. In any case, our diapers do not contain any materials from animal sources. For more information, you can read our full Diaper Safety Report here.
Our diapers are not presently recyclable and should be disposed of in a trash or diaper bin. The process to recycle diapers is difficult due to two current barriers: collecting and sorting the used diapers from the waste stream, and sanitizing the diapers.
Our focus is on sustainable material research and development, with the ultimate goal of creating fully biodegradable or recyclable disposable diapers. For more information, visit our Coterie Impact page here.
We have designed the highest performing diaper on the market to provide the utmost comfort for babies and make parents' lives easier with our flexible subscription and diapering concierge service, all at comparable pricing to other premium brands like Huggies Special Delivery, Pampers Pure, and Dyper.
What makes our diaper unique is the ultra-soft feel that wicks moisture away faster, keeps skin drier, and has the highest liquid capacity of any diaper on the U.S. market. This ensures that our diaper stays dry for a longer time, even during overnight use (for more uninterrupted sleep!), so you can spend less time waking up to change diapers and more time recharging for quality time with your little one.
Your babies are growing, and so are we! So we’re optimizing our packaging designs for our site, partner sites, and store shelves, making it easy for you to find info about our sizes, claims, and materials while maintaining our premium look and feel. Our packaging is design-led, detail-oriented, and made with parents in mind.
Our diapers are the same ones you know and love, just wrapped in new packaging. Prior to rolling out these new packaging designs, we upgraded the wetness indicator on The Diaper (as previously announced via email and social). Otherwise, all the materials and pack counts remain the same. We’re always hard at work on R&D to bring you the best possible products, and we’ll be transparent with you on future changes.
To keep your baby dry and comfortable, we’ve included an upgraded wetness indicator that turns a brighter shade of blue so you can quickly and reliably see when it’s time for a change. Although the indicator is applied to the inner layers of the diaper and never comes in contact with your baby’s skin, we’ve taken extra precaution to make ours free from potentially harmful chemicals: fluorinated substances, quaternary ammonium compounds (quats), and bromocresol green.
Pants
The Pant is a first-of-its-kind diaper-pant hybrid, designed to grow with babies from the time they begin to crawl all the way to potty training.
It’s ergonomically engineered with 2.5x more stretch than other leading training pants to enable more comfortable movement at developmentally important stages, without sacrificing performance. Wrap-around pleating adapts to babies changing bodies, so its comfortable on full bellies, snug on empty bellies, and won’t sag with movement.
The Pant also gives you versatile changing options: pull it up and down like underwear (this also helps build awareness for potty training), or change it lying down like a traditional diaper with the size-adjustable, resealable waistband. For more information, you can read our full Pants Safety Report here.
All babies are built differently, and go through progressions and regressions at their own pace—you know your baby best, but we’d be happy to provide you with some guidelines.
- If your baby sizes out of the diaper, or if they’re showing signs that they’re ready to learn to pull it up and down, it’s time to move to The Pant.
- If your baby wears a diaper size 3+ and is especially active (crawling and/or wiggling on the changing table), we also recommend trying The Pant. The Pant has 2x the retentive capacity of other leading training pants, so it’s suitable for babies around 6 months of age who still need more absorbency than traditional training pants offer.
- If you’re preparing for potty training, or want to ease in with a baby-led approach to potty training, The Pant can be a helpful tool to acclimate your baby to the more ‘underwear-like’ feel, as well as the action of pulling The Pant up and down.
The quantity of pants in each box differs based on the size. You may notice that as the size increases, the number of pants per size decreases. While older (bigger) babies often wet their pants less frequently, the amount of materials utilized in each pant increases.
Size 03: 156 pants (across 3 packs, with 52 pants per pack)
Size 04: 138 pants (across 3 packs, with 46 pants per pack)
Size 05: 112 pants (across 4 packs, with 28 pants per pack)
Size 06: 92 pants (across 4 packs, with 23 pants per pack)
For more information, you can read our Sizing 101 page here for useful tips on box quantities and sizing.
Each box of pants typically lasts about one month, and this can differ depending on whether you're using The Pant as a complement to The Diaper and your child's age, activity level, and changing habits. If you have extra packs of pants remaining, or you're running out of them sooner than anticipated, you can modify your recurring shipment frequency in your Account page or by emailing us at [email protected] or texting us at 951-467-4913.
Our pants are made in Japan by a highly experienced and vetted manufacturing partner who is the pioneer of this new diapering technology and design. We selected our manufacturing partner because of their superior technology, high-quality control, and best-in-class facilities. We started the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) process this year and look forward to receiving that certification soon!
Our pants are made in Japan with the following materials: super absorbent polymer (SAP), polyolefin / polyester, polyester / polyolefin nonwoven, polyolefin film, polyolefin, polyurethane, styrene-based elastomer film, and styrene-based elastomer synthetic resin. Our pants are free of 200+ potentially harmful or irritating chemicals; including fragrance, lotion, dyes, alcohol, parabens, phthalates, pesticides, VOCs, organotins, PFOS and perfluorinated compounds. Our pants are hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested, but we recommend consulting with your doctor if you’re concerned about a certain allergen, fabric, or medical condition. Please note that we cannot say that our products are vegan because that classification is reserved for food products. In any case, our pants do not contain any materials from animal sources. For more information, you can read our full Pant Safety Report here.
Our pants are not presently recyclable and should be disposed of in a trash or diaper bin. The process to recycle diaper materials is difficult due to two current barriers: collecting and sorting the used diapers from the waste stream, and sanitizing the diapers.
Our focus is on sustainable material research and development, with the ultimate goal of creating fully biodegradable or recyclable disposable pants. For more information, visit our Coterie Impact page here.

Wipes
Our wipes were designed with utmost care and attention to detail. Our wipes are stronger and up to 30% larger than average for a more thorough clean per wipe. They are composed of 99% purified water and enriched with eight gentle ingredients, such as vitamin E and glycerin. The Wipe is pediatrician-approved, dermatologist-recommended, and has received the esteemed National Eczema Association's Seal of Acceptance™. They are also EWG Verified™ assuring their safety for use.
Not only do our wipes deliver an outstanding cleaning experience, but they are also designed to be better for the earth. Plastic-free, cruelty-free, and made from 100% compostable fibers sourced from sustainably managed forests—including biodegradable VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers. Our custom-designed pack dispenses wipes one at a time, reducing waste and maximizing their efficiency.
We pride ourselves on the safety of our wipes, which are completely free of plastics, fragrance, latex, rubber, dyes, heavy metals, parabens, phthalates, and chlorine bleaching–designed with eczema-prone and newborn skin in mind. For more information, you can read our full Wipes Safety Report here.
Our wipes are designed in the US and made in China. We selected our manufacturing partner because of their superior technology, high-quality control, and best-in-class facilities. They are also certified with ISO standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Their purifying water system processes water up to pharmaceutical grade too, which is the cleanest and highest grade in safety.
Our wipes are made from 100% plant-based, plastic-free, biodegradable VEOCEL™ fibers. The cleansing solution contains 99% purified water; the other 1% is made up of 8 gentle ingredients, including Vitamin E, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Decyl Glucoside, Silicone Quaternium-17 and Laureth-9.
Our wipes are EWG (Environmental Working Group) Verified™, meaning the product and all of its ingredients meet their strictest criteria for transparency and health. They also received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance™, making them suitable for eczema-prone and newborn skin.
They are dermatologist-tested, proven hypoallergenic, free of alcohol, fragrance, dyes, parabens, phthalates, and hundreds of other potentially harmful chemicals. For more information, you can read our full Wipe Safety Report here.
While most baby wipes are made with some form of plastic, our wipes are 100% biodegradable and made of compostable, plant-based and plastic-free fibers– including VEOCEL™ Lyocell, a future-forward cellulosic fabric derived from renewable wood sources and refined in a closed loop system. Please note that our wipes are not flushable!
Our wipes are not flushable. When you are finished using them, please dispose of them in the trash.
Our wipes are safe to use on all areas of your baby's delicate skin. However, they aren't limited to just babies! Many of our customers love them for cleaning up, removing makeup, or freshing up after a workout. Our wipes are formulated for not only their ability to clean, but also their gentlessness on the skin.
We do not recommend putting our wipes in a wipe warmer. In general, hot and humid conditions can cause wipes to dry out and promote microbial growth. Our wipes are a fresh product and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Additionally, we do not recommend removing wipes from their pack, or transferring them to a wipe dispenser.
Our wipes, like all wipes, do expire with time. If stored in a cool, dry place, they last up to a year once opened, and longer if still sealed. The expiration date can be found on each individual pack.
Sizing & Trial Packs
Our Sizing 101 page and sizing chart is a great place to start, but we know that all babies are built differently. When it comes to choosing the perfect size, we consider weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age.
We like to think that our diapers and pants run true-to-size, but in some cases, they may run small. If your baby is in between sizes on our sizing chart, we recommend sizing up for a better fit.
Leaks and blowouts are often a sign that it’s time to size up. If you're still unsure, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with your baby's specifics (weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age) and we'd be happy to help you find the perfect fit.
The Diaper should fit high and snug around a baby's waist (at or just below the belly button), with just enough room to slide one finger into the waistband. There shouldn’t be any gaps in the legs or waist, and the diaper tabs shouldn’t overlap.
If you’ve used Huggies, Kirkland, or Rascal+Friends in the past, you’ll want to size up in Coterie. Otherwise, we recommend ordering your baby’s current diaper or pant size.
For more information about sizing and fit, check out our Sizing 101 page. If you're still unsure, feel free to contact us at [email protected] and provide your baby's specifics (weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age) and we'd be happy to help you find the perfect fit.
If you’re already using our diaper, we recommend ordering the same size in The Pant. However, The Pant runs a bit longer, so if our diaper you’re currently using is at or above the belly button or the tabs are almost overlapping, we recommend sizing down in The Pant.
If you’ve used Pull-Ups, Easy Ups, or other training pants, you'll want to size down in Coterie as our pants fit slightly larger.
For more information about sizing and fit, check out our Sizing 101 page. If you're still unsure, feel free to contact us at [email protected] and provide your baby's specifics (weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age) and we'd be happy to help you find the perfect fit.
Our products are carefully designed to meet the needs of babies at different stages of development. The Diaper is perfect for newborns and non-crawling infants, effectively wicking away moisture to minimize diaper rash and keep delicate skin dry. Our sizing can accommodate babies up to 40 lbs.
The Pant is designed for active babies, allowing for more flexible movement and a gentler transition into potty training. It can grow with you all from just crawling through potty training. Our pant sizing begins at 14 lbs and can accommodate children up to 62 lbs, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit throughout the transition period.
When to switch from The Diaper to The Pant depends on your baby's individual needs and your own preferences. To find the perfect fit for your little one, be sure to check out our Sizing 101 page for guidance on choosing the right product based on your baby's size and stage of development.
You can purchase Trial Packs for The Diaper here and for The Pant here. Each Diaper Trial Pack order includes 10 diapers total (across two packs of 5), and each Pant Trial Pack order includes 8 pants total (across two packs of 4) — you can choose two different sizes to find your baby’s ideal fit, or simply get all the same size. Please note that we are unable to ship Trial Packs to Alaska and Hawaii due to high shipping costs.

Trial Pack orders ship via Economy (UPS SurePost) and typically arrive within 7 business days, although some orders may take up to 14 business days.
Note all other order types ship via Standard (UPS Ground) and typically arrive within 2-5 business days.
